" I would like to take a moment to thank you for once again making our most recent purchase an enjoyable experience. There are many reasons we have continued to shop at Mike Molstead Motors since our arrival in Charles City, one of which is that it doesn’t matter if you are buying a new vehicle or used, you and your staff make every customer that walks through the door feel welcome and good about their investment. Perhaps customer is the wrong word to use. I’m not sure I have ever felt like a customer there, but rather a friend. You stand behind every deal and every vehicle as though you are selling it to a friend or family member. Another reason is that one never has to worry about whether or not the vehicle they just bought is going to need a major repair in the immediate future. Any problems are dealt with immediately and to the buyer’s satisfaction. Return customers and familiar faces are always greeted by their name and met on a personal level. I can’t recall how many vehicles I have purchased or simply looked at over the years at your facility, but I do know that I have never once felt pressured. Anyone reading this will agree that this is not true at every dealership. Your sales staff is promptly there to any questions one may have, but are not overbearing. Your service department and staff are unsurpassed in their professionalism and dedication. Every call that is answered is done so with prompt and courteous care. Your detailing department makes every vehicle they service look its absolute best. Your administrative department makes every purchase worry and trouble free. About the only thing one can’t find at Mike Molstead Motors is a frown."
"While everything listed above is a good reason to shop with you, there are others that I feel are even more important. You have put back into the community like no other person or business I know. I have witnessed you support our area children in everything from baseball to motocross and parade floats to after prom parties. You give not only on a monetary level but on a personal level. Many young people in college or starting families of their own have fond memories of their coach Molstead. They recall how he made each one of them feel special and like they truly were an important part of the team. Instilling a sense of self confidence in them is something I fear many of us have forgotten to thank you for. I have yet to see you at the dealership or on the street without you asking how everyone in my family is doing. It is very apparent that you did not move to Charles City to simply sell cars. You came to town to raise a family yourself, and become part of it."
