The 2023 Ford F-150 is a versatile pickup that aims to meet every need with its available four-wheel drive, luxury comforts, and pioneering technology. Along with many different performance options, including a V6 that can tow up to 14,000 pounds, this edition offers eight different trim levels that are each distinctive and offer their own mix of impressive styles and features.

Trim Levels of the 2023 Ford F-150
XL

As the base model, the XL is perfect for those looking for an everyday commuter vehicle or work truck with all the essentials, like the SYNC 4 infotainment system and multiple safety systems, including pre-collision assist. While multiple engines are available, it comes standard with a 290-horsepower 3.3-liter V6.

XLT

The XLT, which shares the same engine as the XL, offers more standard features, including cruise control, halogen fog lamps, heated side mirrors, and a black grille surrounded by a chrome design with black accents. It also introduces luxury features, such as available heated, power front seats with lumbar support.

Lariat

For those who want an intermediate option that combines both luxury and performance, the Lariat trim comes with a standard 325-horsepower 2.7-liter V6 under the hood and upgrades the SYNC 4’s eight-inch touchscreen to a 12-inch one. It provides additional standard features like Intelligent Access with Push-Button Start, LED mirror-mounted spotlights, and a ventilation setting for the heated seats.

King Ranch

King Ranch is a unique, Western-themed trim that comes with a Mesa leather-wrapped steering wheel, Stone Gray step bars, rear heated seats, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, and 18-inch wheels with unique King Ranch ornaments on them. It also introduces the first standard V8 in the lineup, a 400-horsepower 5.0-liter.

Limited

Offering a decadent interior with fully reclining front-row seats, the Limited model features a twin-panel moonroof, an Active Motion massaging function for the front-row seats, and an Admiral Blue leather-wrapped steering wheel. Best of all, this trim comes standard with a fuel-saving 3.5-liter full hybrid V6 that produces 430 horsepower and can tow up to 12,700 pounds.

Platinum

Taking luxury to the next level, Platinum models come with 20-inch polished aluminum wheels, chrome side mirrors, and a chrome single-bar grille. While these trim shares many of the same features as the Limited, it comes with the same 400-horsepower V8 under the hood that the King Ranch model does.

Tremor

For taking on more challenging trails, the Tremor trim is the entry option among the two off-road-enhanced trims in the lineup. Although it also comes with a 400-horsepower 5.0-liter V8, this engine is complemented in this model by durable skid plates, 18-inch aluminum wheels with Dark Matte finish, and Tremor-exclusive step boards.

Raptor

The Raptor model, which is larger in stature than the Tremor, improves handling at high speeds, thanks to its five-link rear suspension system and off-road-ready shock absorbers. It also offers two engines exclusive to this trim: a standard 450-horsepower 3.5-liter High-Output V6 in base Raptor models and the Raptor R’s unbelievable 700-horsepower 5.2-liter supercharged V8.
