Creating a Happy Place for Jeyda

Not every 18 year old gets a bedroom makeover for their birthday, but not every 18 year old has walked the road Jeyda has.

We were truly honored to be a small part of Jeyda’s story and help create a beautiful, boho-inspired space just for her.

When the opportunity came to help with this special project, we knew we wanted to do more than simply make a financial contribution. We wanted to roll up our sleeves and be part of the makeover from beginning to end.

At Mike Molstead Motors, we were grateful to be able to help with the actual transformation of Jeyda’s room. We opened our dealership to receive some of the larger items, giving the project a place to store and assemble everything. Our team then put their own time and manpower into getting the pieces assembled.

But this wasn’t something we did alone.

So many businesses and individuals came together to make Jeyda’s new room possible. Each person who donated, volunteered, delivered, assembled, encouraged, or simply helped spread the word played an important part in creating something truly special.

Jeyda’s newly decorated room was revealed to her — and what a special moment it was.

This room is a place where Jeyda can relax, make memories, surround herself with the things she loves, and simply be herself.

We know Jeyda is facing something no young person should ever have to endure. While we can’t change the road she has had to walk, we hope this little piece of her journey brings some comfort, joy, and beautiful memories along the way.

We are incredibly grateful to My Happy Place, Jeyda’s family, and every business and individual who came together to make this surprise possible.

This is what community is about! Showing up, lending a hand, and coming together when someone needs a little extra love.
